About Layer 265

Layer 265 Initiative LLC is an independent research and development company based in North Royalton, Ohio, founded and led by Corey Hamrick.

Our research interests include navigation in degraded environments, distributed timing and synchronization, autonomous system behavior, and software verification.

How we work

Each effort starts by defining the question and making its assumptions explicit. Depending on the question, the work may use analysis, modeling, simulation, software prototypes or controlled experiments. We assess results against stated criteria and document the findings, limitations and open questions.

Layer 265 develops the architecture, software and experiments for its projects, with specialist input selected for each effort.
